Director Brian Troxell hopes that “Spare the Rod” will be a viewer favorite for a horror audience that likes to be scared and have fun at the same time. “I wanted to try some things that I haven’t done in my previous films. I always have my audience foremost in my mind and am always asking myself the questions “Is this going to be fun to watch? Is this going to be scary?” I always try to get as much input from horror fans as possible”.

The family oriented production team can’t wait to start their next project. Troxell adds “I’ve got some great ideas that I can’t wait to put together. I love filmmaking and I love getting everyone involved in the process. 2010 is going to be a great year for Caisson.”
